Thank goodness I found FREESPACES. Deb Smulyan is excellent. I’ve worked with professional organizers in the past and always seemed to hit a plateau. I continued to need help coming up with systems to keep from repeating the same patterns. Deb was able to tap into this and by really listening to what I was telling her, figured out what would work best for me for getting through the organizing process itself and being able to keep up with everything afterwards. If you have an idea of where you need to be, she is certainly the person who can build the path to get you there.
Her creative space planning, design intuition, and highly developed skill set are evident immediately. She’s been able to talk me through a vision, create a clear plan of action, provide a budget, give me choices, give me a break when I needed to step back, produce short term results to motivate me and keep us on track towards the project completion date.
What has made the experience so positive and so productive and means the most to me is how well Deb listens, and really hears what works for me and what doesn’t. She checks in along the way so we can adapt and revise priorities as needed, and make sure we stay on the same page. The confidence and comfort level I have with Deb is what makes all the difference in getting this project done, and makes the value of working with her all the more significant. I told her what I need, she heard me, and has delivered. If she were an NBA basketball player, she’d be Seth Curry. Clutch.
